At White Oak Vanity, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship of our products and the care with which they are delivered to your home. Please read our shipping and warranty policies carefully to ensure a seamless experience.
1. Shipping & Delivery
Because our custom vanities are large, fully assembled, and extremely heavy, they cannot be shipped via standard postal carriers (like UPS or FedEx). All vanities are carefully crated and shipped via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Freight.
Curbside Delivery All standard freight shipments are “Curbside Delivery.” This means the delivery driver will lower the pallet to the ground at the end of your driveway or the curb of your property using a liftgate.
- The driver will not bring the vanity inside your home, garage, or up any stairs.
- Please arrange to have at least two capable adults on-site on the day of delivery to safely move the vanity indoors.
Delivery Scheduling Once your vanity arrives at the local freight terminal, the carrier will call the phone number provided at checkout to schedule a delivery appointment. Deliveries generally occur Monday through Friday during standard business hours. You must be present to sign for the delivery.
Storage Fees If you are unreachable to schedule a delivery, or if you request the freight carrier to hold your vanity beyond their standard grace period, you will be responsible for any daily storage fees accrued.
2. Receiving Your Order (CRITICAL)
Your vanity leaves our facility in perfect condition. It is your responsibility to inspect the shipment upon arrival before the driver leaves.
- Inspect the Exterior: Look for any crushed corners, torn shrink wrap, or damaged wood on the crate.
- Note Any Damage: If you see any signs of exterior damage, you must write “DAMAGED” on the driver’s delivery receipt (Bill of Lading) before signing it.
- Concealed Damage: You must open the crate and inspect the vanity within 24 hours of delivery. If you find internal damage, take clear photos of the packaging and the damage, and email them to us immediately.
Failure to note damage on the delivery receipt releases White Oak Vanity and the freight carrier from all liability, and we will be unable to file a claim or provide a free replacement.
3. Limited 1-Year Warranty
White Oak Vanity stands behind the quality of our craftsmanship. We offer a 1-Year Limited Warranty to the original purchaser, guaranteeing that our vanities will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use.
What is Covered:
- Structural integrity of the vanity cabinet.
- Functionality of hinges and drawer glides.
What is NOT Covered: This warranty is void if the product has been modified, improperly installed, or subjected to negligence. The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper installation, including uneven floors or unplumb walls.
- Water damage resulting from plumbing leaks, standing water, or improper ventilation.
- Damage caused by harsh cleaning chemicals, abrasives, or excessive heat.
- Natural variations in wood. Wood is a living material; variations in grain, color, and texture, as well as minor expansion/contraction due to humidity changes, are natural and are not considered defects.
- Normal wear and tear, including minor scratching or fading over time.
4. Submitting a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim, please email us with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photographs showing the defect. If your claim is approved, White Oak Vanity will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective part or product.
